Taylor Martyr

Taylor has worked in the music business for a decade as a touring songwriter, producer, engineer and music technology enthusiast. He specializes in making all kinds of music - his most recent work has included producing electro-pop acts, remixing indie rock bands, engineering hip-hop/RnB sessions, and even working with teenage pop singer-songwriters. Taylor has passionately used Ableton for over 5 years while maintaining a strong foundation in Pro Tools & Logic. Taylor also works at the world-renowned Jim Henson Studios in Hollywood where he has a production studio, indie record label and a music software company. Other music technology / software companies Taylor has worked for include: Apple, Native Instruments, Nomad Factory and Eastwest.

Taylor currently works as the West Coast product specialist for Ableton. He travels the region teaching clinics and workshops, playing live shows and also doing private consulting. Taylor's experience has spanned from teaching the basics of digital audio to advanced remix production to using Ableton Live on the stage.

Taylor first started using Live when he needed to take tracks from a band he was producing and create a live show. He bought Ableton at version 4 and quickly learned how powerful the software is both on stage and in the studio. He has been hooked ever since!

Taylor offers one-on-one training and special rates for groups.
