Adam Fangsrud has been an electronic music nerd since he was 8, when his parents bought him his first Casio keyboard. He loves all forms of synthesis and sampling, and is equally comfortable with software and hardware.
- Missoula Montana United States
Adam produces solo techno under the name Kro, and is one half of the hardware synth duo Flatliner. He holds an MFA in Sound Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design, and currently teaches audio production at the Art Institute of Austin. In addition, he’s the owner/head engineer at Red Sun Mastering where he mixes and masters multiple genres. Adam has been using Ableton Live since 2003, and loves using Max for Live to build generative instruments and effects.
Adam is also available for online instructions, and can help anyone from absolute beginners to more advanced students. His areas of expertise include beatmaking, sound design, mixing and mastering. Although his personal productions are mostly in the realms of techno, synthwave, lofi, and new age, he can teach just about any other genre you throw at him.
