Izzy has been producing in Ableton Live and DJing as stud1nt since 2014. In 2017, they began teaching workshops and one-one-classes on creative process and production. Previously, they managed operations for a Brooklyn-based eurorack company before co-founding Signal Flux. Signal Flux is an IRL/URl platform to increase accessibility in sound across identity through hands-on student-centered workshops, one-on-one and online tutorials, and engaging public event programming for people of all ages and experience levels in New York City.

Aware of how identity impacts navigating the arts, Izzy is particularly motivated by working with queer people of color and hopes to enable students by providing critical access to resources, tools, and networks of support. Their areas of interest include creative process, arrangement, Max for Live, critical sound studies, and integrating modular with Live.
