Ashrith is a self-taught software and hardware aficionado who regularly indulges in tweaking knobs on analog synthesisers, drum machines and MIDI controllers. He began using computers at the age of 3 and learned QWERTY before the alphabet. He is a producer, performer and DJ of 8 years, is currently learning to play classical piano, and has been teaching professional courses in making and mixing music for 5 years.

A high school graduate on paper, Ashrith went on to prove that formal education isn't everything. He discovered Ableton Live 8 in 2011 and now uses Live to compose, arrange and mix, as well as for working on client briefs. Armed with the know-how of using Push in the studio and on stage, he produces and performs electronic music that tells stories under the name Audio Units along with his brother, Ashwin.
Ashrith is one of the co-founders and full time faculty members at Beatworx Studio in Bangalore, India. He teaches in one-on-one lessons, as well as group and bespoke classes limited to four people, and tailors the courses to each student's needs, and is always happy to aid them in achieving their personal goals. Ashrith has also been making tutorials and hosting workshops on basic & advanced electronic music production, mixing, sound design, music theory and DJing with Live for the last 5 years.
