Our educational facilities stretch over two levels at our main campus and include two large, acoustically treated rooms, one of them with a high-end 7.1 monitoring system, an acoustically isolated room with variable acoustics, and an electro-acoustic laboratory.

The equipment available to our students and researchers is top of the line: a broad microphone arsenal, a wide range of digital and analog processors (PCM and DSD), computers and instruments, as well as experimental devices and setups.

Our partnerships with companies, broadcasters, recording studios, event services and conservatories allow us to teach in different practice-oriented environments with a focus on real-life application.

We present concerts of both acoustic and computer music several times a year, including collaborations with nearby music education centers, like the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana CSI-SUPSI. Public demonstrations of on-going work at CESMA are also held periodically.

Our staff is composed of academics, musicians and recognized professionals of the Audio Engineering Society (AES).

Courses in DAWs (Ableton Live, Pro Tools, Pyramid) are solely taught by certified trainers.

Please note: Ableton Certified Trainers and Ableton Certified Training Centers are private entities or enterprises and neither employees nor agents of Ableton. They are not administered by Ableton AG, Ableton Inc. or Ableton KK. The trainers and centers are solely responsible for their own course offerings and curricula.
