...Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Herbie Hancock, Cat Power, Bon Iver, Drake, The Weeknd, Silversun Pickups, Garbage, and many more. Escudé is a classically trained violinist, an Ableton Certified Trainer and is the CEO of Electronic Creatives, a team of some of the most talented and sought after programmers and controllerists in the business.
Laura's alter ego Alluxe is an electronic music producer/controllerist who uses the most futuristic, hi-tech gear. Alluxe’s music borrows from both from the classical and modern world to create her unique "Future Classical" sound. The dramatic builds and gritty razor sharp percussion in her music give a dense big-room cinematic feel, a nod to her classical training. Her signature sound is where hip hop meets bass music—banging, futuristic, growling electronic beats with beautiful melodic accompaniments. She mixes original compositions, improvised beats, and violin loops seamlessly and her sound is complimented by her alluring stage presence complete with custom LED controllers, vocals and violin.
"She has worked on every Kanye West tour since 2009 including this year's Saint Pablo tour, as well as tours for The Weeknd, Bon Iver, Iggy Azalea, Childish Gambino, Charli XCX and Drake among others. Not only is she widely regarded as one of the best in the world at this job but she's one of the only women in this male-dominated field." - HYPEBAE
“I am known for working with a band of whizz kid producers, one of whom is a Grammy award winning legend. But who did we need to call when we were trying to figure out how to translate our record to the stage? That's right! A beautiful blonde slip of a girl by the name of Laura Escudé. She's hardcore, dude.” — Shirley Manson, Garbage
"When it came time to take my solo live set to the next level I was referred to Ableton Live sonic scientist Laura Escudé. Since she is a musician and producer herself, we started with her showing me some of her techniques and then I brainstormed and built upon those. This lead to a brand new way of performing for me, utilizing all kinds of new controllers and software, allowing me to be very improvisational. It was very easy to work with Laura because she gets what I do from an artistic perspective and has the technical knowledge to pull off my unconventional ideas. It was a pleasure for me to work with her and I will again as my live set continues to evolve." — Herbie Hancock
