Akademia Dzwieku is the biggest computer music production school in Poland. Founded in 2007, it’s a pioneer in the field of pro-audio education in the country. It offers a wide array of courses; from dedicated Live workshops to sound design, from synthesis through mixing & mastering. Most courses are aimed at students with little to none, or a moderate level of experience.

They run both group and individual courses. Group classes are limited to 10 students with courses typically lasting around 15-20 hours. Each student is given the opportunity to work on projects and exercises in the classroom, using the newest Live 10 software, MIDI controllers, audio interfaces, and headphones. The school offers more than just workshops. Their goal is to support the development of the music production scene in Poland. Hosted on its website, is a range of free educational resources to explore, such as sample packs, video tutorials and Max For Live audio effects. They also organize a very popular series of free workshops called Miasto Pełne Dźwięków.
