Akademia Dzwieku is the biggest computer music production school in Poland. Founded in 2007, it’s a pioneer in the field of pro-audio education in the country. It offers a wide array of courses; from dedicated Live workshops to sound design, from synthesis through mixing & mastering. Most courses are aimed at students with little to none, or a moderate level of experience.

Each student is given the opportunity to work on projects and exercises in the classroom, using the newest Live 9 software, MIDI controllers, audio interfaces, and headphones. Presentations and lectures are held in the recording studio’s control room. Classes are limited to 8 students with courses typically lasting around 15-20 hours. Classes are held on the weekends. Akademia Dzwieku employs two Ableton Certified Trainers: Mateusz Telega and Marcin Staniszewski.
The school offers more than just workshops. Their goal is to support the development of the music production scene in Poland. Hosted on its website, is a range of free educational resources to explore, such as video tutorials and interviews, Max For Live audio effects, or the option to sign up for one of the schools music production events.
