Corey Baker (Kill Paris) has been making music since he was sixteen years old. He started on guitar, but recording on computer has always been a part of his process. While in college, he was featured in Future Music magazine for the track "Another Day," featuring Jake Dubber.
- United States, Los Angeles, CA
After receiving his Bachelors in Recording Arts at age twenty-one, Corey spent a year in Nashville, Tennessee. There he played bass in various indie-country groups as well as in the alt rock band The Nearly Deads. He runs his own home studio, has remixed international artists, and has released tracks on numerous labels. He has made a name for himself as the artist Kill Paris, and his tracks have reached the Beatport top 100. In 2010, Corey moved back to Florida to live with close friends Shock to the System and Alexandre. With three excellent producers in one house, it was only a matter of time before they were releasing tracks on the same label, Samoa Good Recordings. He has also shared the stage with the likes of Zeds Dead, Benny Benassi, and Laidback Luke. As an Ableton Certified Trainer, he's now teaching private lessons in the West LA area.
