Alessandro Lestino began working as a DJ at the end of the 80's, playing in several Italian clubs. During those years his style, inspired originally by rock and R&B, began shifting toward electronic music. In 2003, he set up MusicLab, a recording studio used by many Italian and international artists with very different musical roots.

Alessandro is a composer of electronic music. In 2004, he produced the first in a series of works (as Nemesi), released by different international labels (including Relish Rec and Opilec). His productions and remixes are enriched by a mix of influences and by contributions from a variety of musicians.

MusicLab is a leading learning center for sound engineers in Italy. Through the years, the school has issued professional qualifications to hundred of students. As well as teaching computer music, Alessandro is responsible for planning and managing the courses.

In recent years, Ableton Live has brought astonishing changes to the way Alessandro produces his music. He specializes in teaching Live, either for groups or individuals, with a particular focus on advanced production techniques and DJing. The fundamentals of Live are also an important part of his course of instruction.

From the first months of 2020 onwards, Alessandro increased and improved professional training through various platforms for online teaching of software and music production techniques. The satisfaction of the students made it possible to integrate remote learning for all MusicLab courses.
