Luis Gutierrez, aka Gutik, is a DJ, audio engineer, producer, sound designer and a professor of music production and live performance. His lessons are always up to date with the latest in both music and technology.

In 2001 Luis Gutiérrez started playing music as a DJ, dedicating himself to electronic music, while experimenting with many styles and genres. In late 2005 he travelled to Mexico City to study music production and audio engineering. Luis has formidable knowledge in the worlds of turntables, controllers, synthesis and sound design, and started using Live in 2006. He uses Arduino to interact with Live, develops audio and MIDI devices, and uses APIs in connection with Max for Live.
Luis has performed at events like the DJ World Music Conference in Mexico and been invited to give a master class at the Ableton User Group Mexico. He currently teaches Live, Max for Live and Push for music production and live performance at Garage Music Panama. He is available for one-on-one, group and custom classes, holds workshops, master classes and conferences, and organizes the Panama Ableton User Group.
