Jean-Paul has been producing electronic music for almost ten years, performing live in both solo and band settings, and has used Live since 2009. Together with Serge Dusault, he wrote two trip-hop albums under the name of Sed Project.

After receiving his Bachelor's degree in music production, Jean-Paul developed a fascination for teaching. At Pyntago, a private school in Amsterdam and Amersfoort, he now teaches full-time courses to both Dutch and international students. Subjects he covers include Live, Push, Max for Live, music theory, sound synthesis, sound design, and mixing and mastering.
Jean-Paul also runs SoundSuite, a company under which he creates YouTube tutorials, offers mixing and mastering services, gives private lessons, and releases free Live devices
