Phelan Kane (London)
Phelan is a London based producer, engineer, programmer, and teacher. He has worked with clients as diverse as Placebo, Radiohead, Fad Gadget, Snow Patrol, Robert Owens, Dido, Alabama 3, Mute, Sony BMG, Universal, EMI, and Warner Bros.
For over thirteen years Phelan has been teaching aspects of music production and music technology. He is a Senior Production Tutor at Tech Music School, London - an Ableton certified training centre, where he teaches Ableton Live within a variety of TMS degree programmes, as well as providing curriculum development and design. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, a member of the Audio Engineering Society, and a member of the UK’s Music Producers Guild. He was awarded a MA (Dist) in Audio Technology from the London College of Music, holds a PGCert in Learning & Teaching, and is currently studying for a MSc in Digital Music Processing at Queen Mary University of London.
