AudioDoktor is the first Ableton Certified Training Center in Switzerland.
It was founded in autumn 2013 by Ableton Certified Trainer Emanuel Frey, who also built up the Ableton User Group Zürich back in 2011.
The focus of the school lies on advanced creative and dance-oriented music production, controller setups, Max for Live and live performances/Djing.
Booking is managed through a course matrix, giving an overview of available single and group lessons. Every lesson included in the group courses can be booked as a one-on-one lesson.
An up-to-date lesson scheduler shows the availability of trainers in real-time, which facilitates direct booking online.
Three locations are provided: Online courses, single lessons in the studio, or group courses. Upon request, lessons are provided on site or in the student’s studio.
New students first provide their personal music profile, which helps with grading students into beginner and advanced categories.
Following the profiling, AudioDoktor works with a Learning Management System (LMS). It’s used as backend support for the course material, and for the exchange between students and trainers.
With a personal student exchange area, special focus lies on the uploading of students work, and feedback from the trainers and other students.
Training often ends with a showcase, or small performance by the student to ensure the lessons have been properly understood, and that the student is able to implement said knowledge.
Ableton Live is the core DAW used for all of the courses.
AudioDoktor teaches on brand new Macbook Air Laptops, Novation Launchkey Mini Controllers, and Genelec Monitors.
References for AudioDoktor include the famous production Studio Hitmill, Spin DJ academy, and SDS Music Factory, all of which are based in Switzerland.
Please note: Ableton Certified Training Centers are separate private enterprises and are solely responsible for their course content. These centers are not administrated by Ableton AG nor Ableton Inc.
