About the course

This one-month course gives you access to a series of video tutorials delivered by songwriter and producer Erin Barra, demonstrating how to use Live’s fundamentals to make music. On top of this, you’ll get individual feedback and support through peer assessments and a learner forum, plus there are quizzes to keep track of your progress.

Course content

The course is best suited for those who are new to Live, starting a trial, or looking to brush up on Live’s fundamentals. Topics covered include:

  • Programming MIDI and recording audio
  • Using software instruments and drum kits
  • Warping and converting audio
  • Mapping controls and using automation
  • Mixing
  • Managing files
  • Troubleshooting
