Known for artistic projects that transcend standard genres, Michael blends electronic music, jazz, free improvisation, church chorales, and scores for film and theater. His ambient electronic performances have been showcased in sacred venues, including cathedrals and temples of various denominations. As a live performer, he has appeared at prominent festivals such as JazzBez and Leopolis Jazz Fest. He frequently tours across Europe and collaborates with diverse ensembles, including the ethno-theater group Kurbasy and the Mark Tokar Trio. Furthermore, his deep immersion in Indian classical music, mentored by Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, significantly influences his artistic and educational philosophy.
Bringing an extensive background in both acoustic performance and music technology to his Ableton training, Michael developed the core curriculum and training programs at Vedel School to foster a new generation of musicians. He focuses on helping artists unlock their creative potential by using Ableton Live not just as a recording platform, but as a powerful instrument for live performance, spontaneous composition, and innovative sound design.
