changing the tempo for a selected part of a song

Hello! I use live (intro) to compose and record Song-ideas for my band. In General this works great, but I can not find out how to change the tempo of the song (and of the click) for a selected part of the song. I know one can Change (warp) the tempo, but this affects the whole song. How can I say - at a specific Point in the song - from here please set the tempo to a higher bpm Setting, without changing the tempo of the song so far. Is it possible to define such parts with different tempo in one Project? Maybe this is a very simple Thing to do, but I could not find a solution so far. thank you very much for help!

Are you using the session view or arrangement?

For changing tempo in the arrangement you can go to the master track and in the pop down menu there is the tempo and you can draw in the change as automation. That way you can instantly jump from one tempo to another.

In session mode you can actually write the bpm as the name of the scene and it will change it when activated. Make sure info view is open and hover the mouse over a scene button and it explains it.

Im still trying to figure out how I can set song tempo to change at a particular measure by making a marker. I know how to do a time signature marker - like if the song changes from 4/4 to 3/4 for a set of measures, but I can't seem to do that for tempo bpms. I end up dragging automation which is always like 134.45 and crazy crap like that. Its so hard, why can't I just make a marker and enter what tempo I want for that measure like I can do for time signature?
