Inspired by the experimental sounds of the 60s and 70s, this eclectic set of dream-like instruments and textures is ideal for soundtracks, film scores, or anyone looking to spark offbeat production ideas. The Pack is also available as part of a discounted bundle with the Lé Slow and Waterworx Packs.
ZenPad Poly Reverse
Processed and recorded using analogue equipment and effects, many of the instruments in this pack have been given an otherworldly sonic character through a simple yet classic production technique: they’ve been reversed. Analog synths, retro guitars and classic South Asian instruments sit alongside jukebox-style vocal snippets, hollow-bodied bass lines and warped old records played backwards – a soundset reminiscent of 60s and 70s experimentation.
The kit includes over 400 loops and samples of these instruments, a colourful mosaic of jagged textures, eccentric soundscapes and haunting atmospheres. It’s evocative material for soundtrack composers, or a great starting point for those looking towards inventive composition or sound design.
Also included are nine construction kits: pre-prepared Live Sets full of clips and macro-mapped devices, ready to be triggered and tweaked – ideal for hands on use with a MIDI controller and even better with Push. Playing around with the kits of contrasting sounds gives you an idea of the creative combinations possible, and provides a great starting point for your own musical trip.
Add to these the vintage kit Drum Rack – plus the five sets of effects racks for mixing, tweaking and twisting your sounds – and you have everything you need to kick-start quirky compositions or add an unconventionally vintage touch to your tracks.
To explore an even broader range of atmospheres and aesthetics, you can now pick up the ZenPad Lé Slow and Waterworx Packs alongside the Lé Slow collection for the cost of only two Packs.
