By now, youāre probably starting to get the drill of Free Stuff Friday. As the title implies thereās two basic elements: thereās stuff, and itās free. Since weāre Ableton, said āstuffā is going to be of the music production variety.
This week, weāve got some goods to share that explore recontextualized sound - whether itās transforming the sounds of a city into instruments, breaking down a sound into the tiniest grains, or bringing out exclusive parts of a frequency spectrum with a multiband reverb.
Warsaw - Play the City

Ableton Certified Trainer Mateusz Telega makes his home in Warsaw, where heās also the founder of Certified Training Center Akademia Dzwieku. Working with the Dzwieku team, Mateusz collected over 100 field recordings from around Warsaw. In addition to making these samples available for free, Mateusz assembled a Live Set featuring eight instruments and two drum racks based on the samples. Youāll be surprised what you can get - hear the sound of a bus turn into a gorgeous pad.
