If you aren't familiar with The Ableton Cookbook, it's a great blog from Ableton Live user Anthony Arroyo, presenting practical tips and some unexpected tricks. In this latest video tutorial, helpfully titled "WTF is a Triad?", Anthony presents a basic and easy-to-follow guide to using some music theory to make MIDI chords in Live. If you're the type who's always been curious about theory but can't make much sense of sheet music, then this is a great introduction to some fundamentals.
