New in Live 11:

Visualizations for new devices

See visualizations of key parameters in Hybrid Reverb, Spectral Resonator and Spectral Time on Push’s color display and control them directly from the hardware.

Keys and Scales

The Key and Scale feature in Live 11 is linked to Push and can be changed per clip.

Polyphonic aftertouch support

Apply different levels of aftertouch to individual notes when using Wavetable, Sampler, Arpeggiator and supported VSTs for more nuanced and dynamic performances on Push.

See up to 16 Macros

In Live 11, access Macros 9-16 from a second page after the Rack page with Macros 1-8. The second page appears automatically once you map more than eight Macros.

Note chance

Set the probability that a note or drum hit will occur directly on the Push hardware. Live will generate surprising variations to your patterns that change over time.

New in Live 10:

New melodic step sequencing layout

Simultaneously sequence notes and play them in from the same pad layout – the bottom half of the layout allows you to play notes in real time while the top half lets you sequence them.

MIDI note view

Navigate and refine the notes of your pattern in context directly on the Push display. Press and hold a step in your sequence to zoom in and use the on-screen control to adjust velocity, note position and length.

Advanced effect visualization

See Wavetable or Echo in rich detail on Push as you play. When mixing, you’ll see spectrum analysis on EQ Eight, as well as advanced Mid/Side and Left/Right EQ modes. Get real-time audio visualizations from Live's compressor: see threshold settings and compressor activity, plus set up sidechain routing.

New in Live 9.7:

More slicing features

Chop samples by beat divisions or regions as well as by transients or manually. More versatile slicing means more rhythmic possibilities.

16 Velocities

Build dynamic beats fast – Push’s new drum layout comes with 16 set velocity levels for playing and programming patterns. Works with Drum Racks and Simpler’s slicing mode.

Hands-on audio and MIDI routing

Select and record audio and MIDI ins and outs directly from Push. Sample your external gear, assign MIDI to and from different sources and more, without disrupting your flow.

Visual feedback for better recording and performance

Make your performance easier by coloring the pads, tracks and clips using Push. And get your recordings tight using new visual displays of clip phase and count-in.

Play more musically

Pad sensitivity adapts to what you play – whether it’s drums or sustained chords.

New in Live 9.6.2:

Adjust MIDI note length

Use the Push pads to change note length in both melodic and step sequence modes.

Copy and paste clips

Copy and paste between clip slots in Session mode by holding the Duplicate button.

New in Live 9.6.1:

Improved browsing

Better, faster browsing including Load Next / Previous buttons.

Smoother zooming

Navigate your samples from Push more easily with better zooming and overviews.

Additional scale layouts

More options for scale layout give you different ways to play melody and harmony.

Arrangement recording

Capture your ideas in Session mode with Push, then hit record and jam with your clips to sketch a song in arrangement. Plus you can now use Push to record notes and automation into your arrangement.

Lock Mute, Solo and Stop Clip buttons

Mute tracks, bypass devices, solo tracks or stop Clips with one hand while you play instruments or tweak parameters with the other.

Loading samples in audio tracks

Load and hotswap samples in audio tracks – find the right loop or convert to a Simpler for chopping and mangling.
