Will Live version 8 still run along side version 9?

As I'm sure many of you have noticed the new updates of ableton install along side the previous versions allowing you to run an older version if needed.  Will this still be the case with version 9?

Once I install version 9 will I still be able to open Live 8.x.x?

I just spoke with customer support at Ableton and they confirmed that this IS possible.  One thing to note is that if you do choose to run version 9 and version 8 on the same computer that from a legal standpoint that does count as your "2 installations".   Just to be official here.

So, they can be installed on the same computer. (I have 8 and 9 64 and 32 bit) The only thing is that they can not be running at the same time. (for some reason when you boot one after launching the other, they will not share rewire and /or instruments.
