Why does Ableton periodically stop when running in slave mode?

When Ableton is running in slave mode on a second PC, it periodically stops and the only way I can figure out to get it to sync again is by clicking the "EXT" button off and on again.

In particular this happens (but not limited to) when using the Bridge/Serato. Sometimes when I change the sync from deck 1 to deck 2 in Serato, the slaved PC stops running Ableton.

I have been running this same set-up for almost 3 years with no issues at all. I recently upgraded to a new MacBook and reinstalled Ableton Live and have had this issue ever since. I am sure there must be a work-around.

Thank you.

That to has been happening on my Q61. I'm composing using FL 10, PT, Cubase, works for a lil while, then no response,as though it's not even connected. Should've kept my ole reliable 25 key (24 cause it was missing one) Yamaha. This sux big-time. I gave up on it. Gonna eBay it.
