Where should I install Ableton Library: main SSD or HDD.

Ok, so I have a Macbook Pro Early 2011, 2.3 Ghz (Quad Core) 8 GB RAM, 120 GB SSD (Main drive), and a 750 GB (5400 RPM) installed in the optical bay using SATA connection.

Acknowledging my system, do you think its a good idea to install the library on the HDD or should I install it in the SSD?

I have Ableton Suite (Box) and the LivePacks once installed will leave about 40 GB free space on my SSD.

In the future I may want to add more live packs and I will not have enough space.

For the record last night my Macbook and Ableton crashed. I thought Mac's didnt crash.

Thank you for the answers,

Mario

Yes, Macs can also crash: it's still just a computer....
Personally I don't have an SSD in my mac (installed a 7200 rpm HD though, to process audio), but I would just put the library on the HDD, or even an external HD. Reserve the SSD for programs and applications. I mean, you are going to be using more and more sounds when your library gets bigger (not just Ableton's library), so that SSD would be filled in no time this way.
