What is the specific process for migrating Ableton Live 9 Suite and all packs to a new Win 7 (64 bit) computer?

I understand the basics of moving my libraries and redirecting paths, etc. I also realize that any VST plugins will need to be reinstalled. How can I make sure that every other aspect of my Ableton configuration is maintained, including sidebar folder Places (favorite folders), etc? Thank you for your help.

For any other user going through this type of migration- moving your libraries and all is easy enough and well documented, but to restore your sidebar Places, etc., go to your old computer and look for your Windows path X:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Ableton. The subfolder for your version contains a Preferences folder. Look for the Library.cfg file there; this keeps track of your sidebar Places. You can even text edit it to see these. To make it simple, move this entire folder over to your new system, but note that this will also set your VST path and perhaps some other things to exactly the settings from your old PC. You will need to upate these.
