Live packs are files that add content to the Ableton Library. This content can be clips, loops, example sets, grooves, lessons, presets for live devices, templates etc.

Download the live packs, double click then and select import, you will then find them somewhere in the Live library (but finding them can be difficult sometimes!).

For example they are giving away, for a short time, the Retro Synths pack. When installed you will find them in:

Instruments - Instrument Rack - Puremagnetik - Puremagnetik Retro Synths

    And you should ;-)

I hear you nazzid. I have found this difficult to comprehend and haven't found much useful that explains it.
