What are the best guitar amps/plug ins for ableton standard?

I got the pure magnetics pack for the guitar amps but they're mostly too powerful and have no wet dry. The gate on them cuts out too quick or resonates forever.

I can't afford the suite or amp yet but maybe there's someone knows something:)

The wonderful free VST series FreeAmp suited me for years. They're currently archived here - http://rekkerd.org/fretted-synth/

You can use an effect rack containing two chains to create a wet/dry control for any effect that doesn't already have one. One chain contains the effect, the other chain passes the original signal unaltered, and the chain selector determines the wet/dry mix. See "Crossfading Preset Banks Using Fade Ranges" in Section 18.5.4 of the Live Manual.
