Warping non-electronic music

I have an idea that I'd like to do dj sets with non-electronic music, and even non-western music, but it really seems like a lot of hard work to warp all these tracks (say for example ethiopian jazz). Would it be better not to warp, play them out one at a time and instead just extract samples to work with for looping?

Turning warp off would be better in terms of playing the selected songs as they are, yes.
But if you want to mix them at the correct speed, you will unfortunately have to tweak the warp settings.
But after some practice this will get easier!
