Using Live 9 (Mac) with Beats Studio Wireless headphones
More an answer than a question--I wrestled with this last night and figured it out.
Live will refuse to use an audio device with a sample rate under 44.1kHz. The new Beats Studio Wireless supports 44.1kHz for the output, but the built-in mic samples at 8kHz.
To get it working, you have to go into Audio Devices on your Mac (under Utilities) and first make sure the headphones are set to 44.1kHz for the output sample rate. Then create an aggregate device using just the output of the headphones, not including the mic. Then select the new aggregate device as your audio output device in Live.
You need to be logged in, have a Live license, and have a username set in your account to be able to answer questions.
