USE AS A STANDARD DAW

I'm a novice user.

How do I set up Ableton to use it as a standard multi-track Daw ?

My main recording format is a stand alone DAW (Roland VS2480).  I need to use Ableton to process vocal tracks using Melodyne Editor plug in.

I will transfer a stereo "instrument track" and each vocal tracks.  I want to be able to listen to each vocal track being edited in context with other vocal tracks and the instrument track.

I will transfer the edited vocal tracks back to VS2480 for mixing.

Thanks

Ed

Read the manual first, i would say. Ableton already IS a multitrack DAW, so what do you mean with setting it up like one?
To record all separate tracks: load enough audio tracks in Live, set every input to the desired channel, arm all the tracks, and simply start recording.
