This sucks or I'm a missing something?

You can click around a lot with automation but how can I delete all the automation of some kind within a track at once instead of deleting all the seperate circles?

To delete multiple automation nodes at all once, highlight the automation nodes by holding left click on your mouse and dragging on top of them, right click, choose "Delete Envelope". Hope that helped, if not, reply, I will post a video. Keep up with my tutorials at:

Alternatively, if you have the automation in a lane (i.e. it's not overlaying the clip) you can just highlight with your mouse and hit delete. It's generally easier to work with automation in lanes for reasons such as this.

I guess he didn't want to delete all nodes but all automation for all parameters at once.
