sync audio/video problems

I'm an older user of Ableton live (since version 3) but now I found a big problem (for me) working on some projects I'm preparing.

Suddenly this morning two of the five project I'm working on started to give me some stra nge sync  problems between video and audio. The point is that I'could think about overload cpu problems but I think it's not due to this:

1- video comes before the sound and not after as usually it could happen whit cpu usage overload

2-  other bigger projects are working well

During some recording session I captured some clips in 24bit and 48000 Hz (in order to have a bigger headroom) while other clips are recorded at usual 16bit and 44100Hz. So there are both clips togheter in the same could be due to this???

My setup is composed by a Macbook pro [2.3 GHz intel core i7 (quadcore)/ 4GB 1600MHz DDR3 ram/ osx 10.8.2] audio card focusrite scarett8i6

I'm using also an external hard disk (not a good one but the problems are not due to this because I tried to work whit the same project on the internal hard disk whitout any result) and an external 24" monitor.

I hope you'll answer to me...

Than you

I just upgraded from an old Mac Mini 2011 to a brand new iMac full boosted and I have the exact same problem...

Can't find anything to make it work properly.

Same here. Really no clue what's going on. I'm doing some audio post production in my Ableton. As it seems, it's not out of sync if I export it and it get's imported into the audio editor. Happy not to create problems that way, but to me....I don't like the way this works.
