Storing Samples in the Cloud?

I have a very small hard drive (MacBook Air), and I'm thinking of keeping my samples in the cloud (SugarSync).

Any suggestions?  Would it work (even with large piano samples)?  See any potential issues that could arise?  Do I need to save every ALS set to my hard drive for live performances?

Hi there - I've had issues with load times and general Ableton startup time by having all my samples on a separate drive than the application is on. I can only imagine if your samples are stored on a cloud, this time would be extended even more due to the throughput restrictions of your internet connection.

One workaround is to save the song file with the samples & stems in one location/folder on your local drive and keep your sample library on your 'bigger' hard drive or cloud.
