sidechaining just input ferequencies from a track

Hi, i heard ableton has a compressor that it can receive input frequencies and remove those frequencies from the efected track , is that true?

for example, If i had a solo guitar section in my track , and i wanted it to be the center of listeners attention, and this solo guitar had a large range of frequencies , i could load this compressor on the other instruments mixer track and side chain it with guitar frequencies , then when guitar goes to mid and low frequencies , just those mid and low frequencies removes from track , and when guitar goes to higher octaves ,  higher frequencies will sidechain from other instruments ,
