Selecting different input & output device in Ableton 9

Hi,

Ableton 8 allowed me to select one input device and another output device (effectively allowing to route audio from different sources through ableton and into a soundcard).

However in Ableton 9 in "settings->audio" I can only select a generic "audio device".

Is this feature gone completely?

Any help appreciated!

Are you using a dedicated audio interface?
If so, that is the audio device you should choose in the settings.
The routing possibilities are still the same, as far as i know, and the amount of routing options depend on your interface.

Just installed VoiceMeeter by VB-Audio (http://vb-audio.pagesperso-orange.fr/Voicemeeter/index.htm) and it seems to do the job.

I made sue that my soundcard stays the default input/ouput device in the windows settings, so that other software (e. g. Spotify) is still working as before.
