Recording MIDI in loop. Keep Last?

Hi guys,

My first session in Ableton so bear with me...

I'm trying to find the 'Keep Last' run button. I'm recording (playing) a Roland MIDI kit and trying to nail the verse so my loop is 9 bars long. I'd like to stop loop-recording when I feel happy with the take but can't find the setting to do that. I see an 'overdub' option for adding notes on every run but that's not what I want to do. Previousely, (in another DAW) I would set the recording to keep the last run by pressing STOP before the next loop finishes. Any ideas?

Thanks, Si

see that little circle-button near the transport controls? Try that, or read some info on that button in the manual; it can help you achieve that goal.
