Parameter Automation not appearing in track lane when clicked.

One of my favortie aspects of using Live in teh studio is the convenience of clicking on a parameter and having it's automation appear in the track in arrangement view. While using Live 8.2.5, this feature no longer happens. I decided to upgrade to 8.3.4, and this problem is still occuring. i scoured every menu and option I could think of to no avail. Any suggestions?

Try this: open an automation chooser, and untick "show automated parameters only", if ON. This hides un-automated parameters, AND prevents the automatic selection of these un-automated parameters.

    Hi there

What I found is to right click on your parameter and choose, select automation,or show automation

An automation lane  then appears on your chosen track in arrangement view

Or record enable your track, record the automation as you adjust your parameter

    Hope that helps

that's just the thing, I don't want to have to right-click, or navigate any menus, or record stuff just to see th automation. If you touch a parameter with your mouse, it is supposed to be focused in the automation chooser for that track. Makes working with automation super quick. Thanks anyways.
