multiple video tracks

Does Live only show the last video that I added to the arrangement?

Ich have three tracks with videos, but only one video window. How do I get multiple video windows, or how do I change which video is shown in the one window?

I don't think it's possible to have multiple video windows in Live. It is possible with Max/MSP/Jitter though, and possibly with Max4Live? I don't have Max4Live yet so I'm not sure about that.

Whenever a new video starts in a track that's below the track that's currently playing, Live outputs that video. For example when a video is playing in track 1 and it gets to the point where another video starts playing in track 2, it's going to output the second video. If after that you put a third video in track 1 and it gets to the starting point of that video while the second video is still playing, it's going to keep playing the second video (in my experience) because the new video is not in a track that's below the one playing now. However, if you had put the third video in a new track (track 3), it would have started outputting that video.

So if you just want the first video to keep playing, you have to make sure a new one never starts in a track below the one that's playing now. If that isn't possible for what you're trying to do, you'll have to just bounce the audio of the other videos and use that audio instead of video so the first video doesn't get 'interrupted'.

    Hope this helps!
