Microphone is being warped!!!


When I record my mic into Albeton, it is being warped, I have to go into the clip and unwarp it every time, how do I turn this off?

    Try preferences (command + , on a Mac), turn-off auto warping of audio files. Although, I'm not sure why you would do this... Warping in Ableton is your friend. Each of the different warping modes has it's own character. Check your default warp mode, maybe another mode will be more suitable for your tastes/needs.

    Yes, warping is turned on. You might even have warp markers inserted at transients BUT Live is not moving audio around. Your audio is playing back exactly like you've recorded it unless you have moved those warp markers.
