MCU Pro Scribble Strip

I have recently upgraded my main control surface to an MCU Pro and all works fine but I notice that the scribble strip has 2 lines of display. Line 1 = Track \ Parameter Name, line 2 = Data or Meters

The second line is where I am seeing an issue. It displays Meters fine when Pan is selected and displays parameters fine when they are selected BUT ONLY when playback is stopped. If I have the project playing, any track that has signal causes the parameter line to just display ................ instead of the parameter.

This is a pain especially when navigating plugins as you cannot see the names of plugins for a selected track unless you look at the screen or stop.

I guess users using this is small but I would be interested to know if anyone else has had the same experience.

I know there are users out there with MCUs and I managed to finally track down a way to fix this as Ableton would not.

Without going at length I have modified a decompiled script for the MCU to change the behaviour of the bottom line when the Meters button is not pressed. There are instructions on the Ableton forum (search for my handle) but basically with a modded python file it fixes the issue for good... Just keep a backup of the file because when Live updates it overrides the file.

If you need this just let me know here.
