Looping experts: Multiple Looper devices, one MIDI pedal

Hello Ableton fam, and especially Looper fam: I need your expert advice.

I am trying to control multiple Looper devices, each on their own track in Ableton, from a single MIDI foot pedal.

I am currently using a Logidy UMI3, which limits me to 3 buttons and no extra banks.  This pedal works great for controlling one looper, but I haven't figured out how to control multiple separate devices from it yet (if there is a way).  So my question is this:

-Is this even possible to control multiple Loopers with a simple 3 button controller, or am I correct that I need a controller with switchable banks?

(Maybe there is a way to make the controller only affect the currently selected track?  When I try to do this, pressing a button on the pedal to trigger record on one Looper of course triggers record on the other loopers too, because the corresponding button is mapped to all the loopers.)

Thanks for your brains and time.

    Hey man,

Did you ever work this out. I'm experiencing a similar problem.

Let me know if and how you figured it out.

Hey-If there is a way to do it, I haven't figured it out.  Currently looking into getting the Omnisonic Looptimus pedal, it has multiple banks with six buttons on each to control separate loopers.  The Keith McMillen Softstep seems to be a big hit for this too, but I like the guitar pedal look/feel of the Looptimus.
