Live not recording / bouncing samples / losing samples

Hi All,

I'm running Live on a 2012 Macbook with a 2.4GHZ processor, 16GB of RAM and a 500GB SSD.

Recently, after many months trouble free usage, I'm finding that my sets are becoming corrupted and are crashing.

I've recently started a new set for a project. I have about 20 midi tracks and 2 vst's and am just playing around with ideas. I use a thing called a glitch machine to generate my glitch material  - basically a row of glitch samples in an audio track set to follow action on every beat, which you then bounce into a new track.

Having made no changes to the settings, this is now crashing live - i click in to record the glitch material into a new audio track, and I get the spinning wheel of death, it doesn't record right, and then crashes.

Also, older sets which I need from time to time are getting corrupted - I go into them and audio tracks of loops that I've bounced down are playing the first bar then going silent, despite showing in the viewer as complete audio files.

Help?!
