Live 8 + Virus TI Bounce Workaround + SSD

Hey there,

i´ve tried the following workaround to bounce a track that contains the VirusTI.

To force Live 8 to render in realtime i´ve setup an audiotrack with the external plugin routed into nothing.

That worked very well, but soon as i bounce the track down Live shows me an Disk-Dropout at 50% of the rendering.....

I´ve got two OCZ Vertex 4 SSD´s in my Macbook Pro (Intel i7) and my Live project has about 16 Tracks or so....

any idea? Anyone tried this before with the VirusTi? Do i really have to bounce the TI-Tracks before exporting??

I would recommend recording the Virus parts to an audio track first.

In analog tape days, we called this "printing" the track.

Create an audio track. Set the audio input source as the output of the Virus instrument track.  Record the entire song to the audio track.

Then when you bounce the track, turn the Virus plug-in off to prevent the crash.
