L/R Volume Balancing of Analog Stereo Bass

Greetings to community.

A question here - got a wide bass recorded from my Tetra.

Mids are fluctuating in volume in L/R and deviation is pretty significant 4-5db, due to the patch itself. Still can go back and tweak it in Tetra, but there should be a way another way to tame it.

Should I just split it in two chains and compress the mids separately?

Or is there any better solutions?

Thanks.

Have you tried some selective mid/side eq-ing?

Thanks, I know the technique and got a couple of good plugs for that, but still can not figure it out how to apply it properly in this case.
