Korg volca bass & ableton

Hey all I'm trying to use my volca bass with ableton, so connect it to my sound card (Scarlett 2i4) using midi and jack cables. I used this video to help -
I want to use the step sequencer in ableton and then use the volca bass to change the sound, as in the video.
But when I set it up I get no sound can anyone shed any light on what I'm doing wrong? Do I need drivers for the korg? Thanks all.

Hi! I have a volca bass problem too.
I setting in ableton midi ch.1 using audio 8dj.
On the volca bass midi ch.1 too.
The signal goes out from ableton but not in my volca.
I try it on two midi cables. Are both cables broken?
Audio goes in ch. 1&2 on the midi channel in ableton, when i press a note on volca sound comes out but not synched with ableton.

If you set it up like the video, it should work. No need for drivers, because you are controlling the Volca via midi.

If there's no sound, make sure you selected the correct midi channels on the Volca and in the midi track within Live.
Also check the audio preferences and make sure the chosen midi and audio channels are actually turned on.
