Is it possible to mute tracks on the fly and then have them un-mute automatically, on the next downbeat?
I'd like to be able to push a key / button that would mute certain tracks for the remainder of a bar (or some predetermined length of time) and then those tracks would become un-muted at the next downbeat.
It's kind of like inverse of clip launching, where the end of the clip is quantized to Bars | Beats etc...
This way it'd be really easy to create a dropout on the fly w/ a grid controller etc...
I've tried this with Dummy Clips and ClyphX with no success, but I'm feeling like it's possible and I'm perhaps looking at this the wrong way.
Any help would be appreciated.
