Switch your audio input to MME/DirectX if it is on ASIO. This worked for me.

Why doesn't Abelton have a troubleshooting section in their manual?

    A few potential answers...

    - Have you record enabled the instrument you're trying to play by clicking the red button at the bottom of the channel?

    - Have you checked the audio input and outputs devices? You can check this by going to "Options" > "Preferences" > "Audio".

This can happen for different reasons but double checking these things is a good place to start.

That not it I can bring up my NI B4 plug in interface and press a note and it plays. Midi info is not getting to the instrument. It all work on my old XP desktop but not on my Sony laptop. Some time I can press a key on the oxgen8 and a minute later I hear a note play
