How to use the KORG nanoKEY (I) to work proberly?

Hello there,

could someone tell me how to utilize the KORG nanoKEY (I) the best way in Ableton, please?

please also read my forum post with my current code here:

It works good for 5 or 6 keypresses and after that i can press the keys and it seems to loose the control (the tones become lower and until nearly mute). Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance.

    Hi Hermanus,

you must be a joker, huh... I paid for it, and so I stubbornly achieved to get it to work with ableton.

It seems that the controller reacts in a very detail on how hard and what speed you are pushing the keys. A really fantastic sensoric for that small cost. My template that I provided in the forums is still working.

But at time of writing the user template script I was not keeping track of the power I pressed they nanoKEY's keys. So I just pushed slighter and slighter to see if it works basically. That was the problem... Okay now you can finetune the template and figure out how to name the controls... could be some hours of trial & error testing action.

Appreciation through other Users would be great. So if you figure something out, please post it in the forum:

this controler is well known for the unreliability. I know users that had problems the first week of use... keys do not respond anymore after few days.

Search for a better one or replace it where you 've bought it
