How to update arrangement view with changes in clips?

OK, so let's say you've made an arrangement out of all your great clips.

But then you realise that you want to change the panning envelope, say, on a drum loop clip. Unfortunately if you change this in clip view, it doesn't carry over into arrangement view - the arrangement version of the clip keeps the original panning envelope.

Is there a command to say "update the version of the clip in arrangement view so it is the same as the clip view version"? Or "copy this envelope from clip view"?

The way I did it was just copy and paste, in the end, but that's not very convenient...

Not that I know of, if there is id love to know! Think the best idea is once you start working in arrangement view just edit all the envelopes etc in arrangement view instead of session view from that point on. In other words, why continue editing clips in session view after youve transferred everything to arrangement view and have decided you want to make an arrangement out it anyway?

Interesting question. I think this is an area where Logic Pro is more powerful. In Logic, MIDI regions can be aliases, so if you update the original they all change.

Would really like to see Ableton add this too.
