How to set Sampler default when dragging sample into new MIDI track?

I have a default setting I use for Sampler, but it only seems to work when inserting an instance of Sampler. When I drag a sample into the MIDI track it uses a different default setting, which I can't figure out how to change. Considering that this is how I get Sampler into the track most of the time, I'd love to find a way to reset its default!

You may alter default settings to your liking, as follows:

    • Load an empty Simpler or Sampler from the Browser (it is important it contains no sample).
    • Alter the settings to your liking.
    • Locate the following folder in the Library, using the Live Browser: \Library\Defaults\Dropping Samples\On Track View
    • Drag the Simpler or Sampler from the Device view to that folder.
    • From now on, dragging a sample to the device view will use this Simpler or Sampler preset, with your own settings.

I guess I'd like to know how to set those defaults. I just got Sampler and haven't played with it yet but I'd like to have pitch bend always set to the same value for every sample.

Load a "Sampler" on a Track. Make your default settings. Click on yor Sampler with Right Click. Choose "Save as Default Preset"

Resetting Sampler back to factory presets: (keep in mind that this will delete your preset.)

    Click -

User Library > Defaults > Instruments > [right click] Sampler > *Delete
