How to select all clips in track to the right of the cursor in a track?

I want to select all clips in a track to the right of the cursor in a track, so that when I move a clip to the left (to align it with the one before) the rest of the clips that follow after are also moving with it. I know I can consolidate them and move them as a group, but what about simply selecting the whole thing to the right?

Left- click to set the marker before the first clip you want to select, then hit Shift + End, or Shift + Pos1 to select in the other direction. Don't know if Shift + Fn + Arrowkey on mac might work the same way.

Would be a Handy feature. at present I use cut time.

example: I select the area between the two clips I want to move together, then use 'cut time',  which then moves all the tracks.
